Forest Fox and Friends square finished, just one more square to go.

Almost finished, still not sure how I will finish it.

I also finished off a few stitched pieces into bell pulls.

I think one is a Shepherds Bush design, one Lizzie Kate, one Just Nan and I cannot remember who designed the last one.  

I also made a wreath last Christmas, it was made from 52 small fabric pillows.  

Sorry I cannot remember who made this kit.  I added a few fir cones as well, might add something else to it next year as well.  It feels like it needs something else.

StitchMaynia update

Well I did not have a new start every day like your supposed to, maybe I will next year now I know about it.

I have finished the first part of Little House Needleworks Country Christmas. 

I stitched a bit more on my Shepherds Bush Wool Gatherer.

I also have the Herb Gatherer and Earth Gatherer in my stash, I really must stitch them soon.

I did start a few new projects

Mirabilia's Rose of Sharon, I have had this chart in my stash forever.  It was one of the first charts I brought.

Just a small start but at least it's started.

And one last start

Just Nans The Promise,  one of the Red Hat Stitcher charts.

We'll that's it for this post.  Maybe I will start some more I'm not sure.  If I do I must finish them and not start another UFO pile.

StitchMaynia

The other day I discovered something called StitchMaynia.  Why have I not heard about this before?  Apparent started a few years ago in 2015.  People started 15 new projects in May 2015 then in 2016 they started 16 new projects in May and so on.  One each day for the first X number of days in May.  So this is 2018 so for the first 18 days you start a new projet.   I'm coming to this late but will do my best to start 18 pieces in May.  Any excuse to start something new.  I will try and finish as many of the pieces as I can this year.

I have already started a few pieces this month.  The first is the Little House Needleworks Country Christmas.   As this is released a part each month after I have caught up with the first three I already have I will make sure I stitch each section as it comes out.  I really want this ready for Christmas this year.

I have started the main border and also stitched the borders around the first three parts.  I will start stitching the first section tonight.

I have also started stitching the border for the new Country Cottage Needleworks Welcome to the Forest.   My granddaughter will love this one.

I have also stitched the white border from the first part.

The next new project is The Wool Gatherer from Shepherds Bush.   I have been meaning to start this for years.

I've just noticed I left the needle in view when I took the photo,  sorry about that.

Must go now as I have to go out.  I will stitch on the County Christmas one tonight but I will also start something new to add to my rota.  Not sure I will end up with 18 on the go but you never know.   As long as I end up finishing a good number of them this year I'll be happy.  At least it might stop me buying so many new ones to be left waiting to be stitched, but probably not.  LOL

A flurry of finishes

I have been busy finishing more if my stitched pieces into ornaments,  mostly pillow ornaments but not all.

I stitched all of Lizzie Kate's Six Fat Snowmen together and finished them as a wall hanging.  I also have the Lizzie Kate Snowbelles but I have not started stitching them yet.  Eventually I will make them into a matching  wall hanging.

Country Cottage Needleworks Mrs Clause Cookie Shop from the Santa's Village series made into a small cushion to match the Santa one.

I still have lots more to finish but I also have lots to stitch.  I will finish more to add to my next post but I want to stitch more on my Gingerbread Village to show you next time.

Wandering Shepherd and some wool

I have finished the wandering Shepherd by Shepherds Bush.  I do love these samplers and have a few more to stitch in my stash.  I would love to get some of their Gatherer ones as well but Shepherds Bush kits are very hard to find over here and when you add the duty, VAT and the £8-10 the post office add to collect duty/VAT makes them a bit too expensive to buy from overseas.

Before I start anything new or try and finish my LK snowmen there is something else I must finish before the weather gets too cold to wear it.

I really must finish this cardigan.  I started it in the spring but still have the sleeves to do.  I decided to make it longer in the body as I prefer my cardigans longer.  I am knitting it using Patons  Smoothie, it's the first time I have used this and it is lovely yarn.  I have also promised a friends granddaughter I would make her some clothes for her dolls.

Wandering Shepherd

Almost finished another section and then only one more part to do. I love the 6 Fat Men all stitched together.  I'm not sure if I will frame them or make them into a wall Hanging, I also have the 6 Snow Belles but I think I will wait until later in the year before I start them.  I did start a new project this week....

The Wandering Shepherd from Shepherds Bush.  It has been a while since I stitched one of their samplers and I wish they were easier to find here in England.  I would love to find some of the Gatherer ones.

It is  a Bank holiday here this weekend so hopefully I will get a bit more time for stitching, especially as it is supposed to rain Again!

Happy Dance

I have finished my Shepherds Bush St. Peter's Fair sampler.  I wanted to finish this one so have not worked on anything else this week. 

I will take a proper photo once I have pressed it.  I must stop taking photo's on my phone instead of the camera, they just don't look right.

I am going to get my Mirabilia Blossom Harvest out of the UFO pile and work on her as well as my Dawn Thread Random Thoughts sampler.  I am determined to get my UFO's under control. I wonder how long I can hold off starting something new.  LOL

Two Samplers

An update on My Favourite Things by Drawn Thread.

This one is coming on well, I think it will be finished soon it is stitching up quickly. 

Next one is St. Peter's Fair by Shepherds Bush.

Not a good picture you cannot see the sun very well I will try and take a better picture next time.

I will work a bit on my Northern Lights sampler by Jeannette Douglas,  I will post an update on it in a couple of days.

Better Not Pout

I've been a naughty blogger sorry.  I have finished 'Better Not  Pout' by Shepherds Bush.  I do love these samplers and I have a few more in my stash.  First I must finish my LK Santa and work a bit more on my Mirabilia Winter Queen.  Oh and my friend Sandy sent me a Country Cottage Needleworks chart called 'Ice Cream Sundae' I must stitch that as soon as I can.

Finaly Finished

I have finally finished The Promise and stitched the beads and charms on. Not a very good photo sorry but hopefully you can see it well enough.

Now I just have to find a frame for it. I do love these Shepherds Bush Samplers and have a few more in my stash. Next I am going to stitch another Halloween chart for my boys.

Finished Love Grows

I have finished Tonia's Love Grows SAL. I think I will finish this as a pillow I just need to find some fabric to go with it.

I think I may add my initials at the bottom in the middle.

I also stitched a bit more of The Promise, not as much as I would have liked but hopefully I can finish the stitching on this piece in a day or two. Then it will be time for the beads and charms. Also time to start thinking about what I am going to stitch next or maybe I will finish another one of my stitched pieces into an ornament.

The Promise, Christmas and Halloween

Not really done much stitching this week. Over the Bank Holiday we went out a few times. On Sunday we went to Dover Castle and Monday to Reculver. But I did manage a little bit on The Promise by Shepherd's Bush.

Not very much stitching left on this one and then it will just be the beads and charms to be added.

Made one of my pieces of Christmas stitching into an ornament. This is a SanMan Originals board members chart.

I also stitched a piece for Halloween, another SanMan Originals board members chart. Just need to find a grey star to add just above the ghosts head and a tuck.

I must go and start on the second part of Tonia's SAL.

More of The Promise and a Spring Keeper

I have not stitched much on The Promise but I had to stitch myself a scissor keeper as my lovely beaded scissor fob broke. No batteries in the camera so a scanner picture again.

I decided to stitch The Spring Scissor Keeper by Drawn Thread. It was such a quick stitch and hopefully tomorrow I will make it into the keeper for my scissors.

I am also stitching Sandy's Sew Snow. This is so cute but I am not going to show it to you until I have finished stitching it.

More Promise and a Garden Tuck

Well Easter is finished and all the eggs are eaten, well except two and they are Jack's. He always makes his last as long as possible.

Here is an update on my Shepherds Bush The Promise Sampler.

I am hoping I will have a bit more time for stitching this week but I did manage to fit in

another tuck from Sanman Originals.

I do love these they are quick to stitch and look great. This one is called The Garden Tuck.

The Promise

I said I was in sampler mood. This one is called The Promise by Shepherds Bush. Not a very good scan the colours are not right.

I have not had a lot of time for stitching as the boys have been home and we have taken Charlie our Labrador out for walks sometimes along the tracks by the farms. Charlie loves these walks and it keeps the boys off The World of Warcraft. I'm sure they would spend all day on there if they could. LOL

Wooly Winter

I loved stitching this Shepherds Bush design but it will have to wait for the beads and charm as I have some exchanges to do first.

I hope to be able to stitch a few little ones for myself in between the exchange pieces. I have some Christmas cards to make as well so must get on with them as well.
