Wandering Shepherd and some wool

I have finished the wandering Shepherd by Shepherds Bush.  I do love these samplers and have a few more to stitch in my stash.  I would love to get some of their Gatherer ones as well but Shepherds Bush kits are very hard to find over here and when you add the duty, VAT and the £8-10 the post office add to collect duty/VAT makes them a bit too expensive to buy from overseas.

Before I start anything new or try and finish my LK snowmen there is something else I must finish before the weather gets too cold to wear it.

I really must finish this cardigan.  I started it in the spring but still have the sleeves to do.  I decided to make it longer in the body as I prefer my cardigans longer.  I am knitting it using Patons  Smoothie, it's the first time I have used this and it is lovely yarn.  I have also promised a friends granddaughter I would make her some clothes for her dolls.

Wandering Shepherd

Almost finished another section and then only one more part to do. I love the 6 Fat Men all stitched together.  I'm not sure if I will frame them or make them into a wall Hanging, I also have the 6 Snow Belles but I think I will wait until later in the year before I start them.  I did start a new project this week....

The Wandering Shepherd from Shepherds Bush.  It has been a while since I stitched one of their samplers and I wish they were easier to find here in England.  I would love to find some of the Gatherer ones.

It is  a Bank holiday here this weekend so hopefully I will get a bit more time for stitching, especially as it is supposed to rain Again!

Gigi

Here is my lovely Gigi.  She was a joy to stitch, well except the kreinik in on the Broom.  I will wait until I  stitch Ana before I frame Gigi as I want them in matching frames.  They will look great together with my other Halloween stitching.  I will stitch a few small ornaments and finish my 6 Fat Men before I start another larger project.

Howletts

I only have a few beads to put onto Gigi but i will save her for a post of her own.

Here is an update of my Lizzie Kate 6 Fat Men, not much more to do so it should be finished soon.

Today we went out for a trip to Howletts wild animal park, They do a lot of work breeding animals and returning them to the wild.  The big cats are among my favourites

They  have many different primates

I could not get a good photo of the Gorillas but I do lke this one

Red River Hogs.

There are a few different types of wild dogs

Almost there

I have finished most of the stitching just a bit to do on the Broom but I will leave that until I start beading tomorrow.  I have really enjoyed stitching her.  It is not so blue in real life, not sure why the blues are so bight maybe something to do wit the photos being taken on my tablet.

Not much time for stitching today so I will work on my 6 Fat Men when I  get a few minutes.

Gigi and Snowy Pines

A bit more stitching on the lovely Gigi.  I have not been stitching as much as usual because of the heat, I'm afraid I am not a lover of the hot weather.   But I am still enjoying stitching her.

I also stitched Snowy Pines from Little House Needlework this week I just have to find some white beads to finish it.   I love stitching these ornaments and still have loads more to stitch.

Gigi

I have started Gigi.  I almost changed her colour from blue to purple.  I saw a conversion and it looked beautiful but I'm glad I stuck to the original colours.   Hopefully she will stitch up quickly, I cannot wait to see her finished.

I have finished the Snow Day part of 6 Fat Men, just two more parts to do.  Not sure if I will do anymore on this until I finish Gigi.  I really want to finish her as soon as possible.

A little Snow and 6 Fat Men.

A Little Snow

This was such a cute stitch.  I used the dyed thread that I had and a few DMC.  I have loads of WDW and GAST threads but never all the ones I need.  The chart came with the fabric, beads and charm.

I had so much trouble with the long border on the Snow Days section.  I had to re stitch it so many times.  I am beginning to think 32ct fabric is getting to hard for me to stitch on.  I have not started Gigi yet but I may start her later this week.  I want to stitch a bit more on the 6 Fat Men.

Titania is Finished

I have finally finished Titania,  I am so glad I finished her and did not add her to my pile of WIP.  I do have the Midsummer Nights fairy but she will have to wait.

I am going to work on my 6 Fat Men tonight and tomorrow I will look for some fabric to stitch Gigi on.  I'm hoping I have a piece big enough in my stash to stitch both Gigi and the new Ana chart released today by Nora.  They will look great together.

Almost finished

Well I did not get as much stitching done over the weekend as I had hoped but  not much left and I will get it finished this week.  I must make sure I finish this before I start anything else.

Which is going to be hard as I got some new goodies in the post today.  I really want to start one of these but I MUST finish Titania first.

I'm thinking maybe Gigi will be the one I stitch first.

Titania's Wings

I have almost finished stitching her wings.  I have also added the back stitching to her arms and face, she did not look right without her face back stitched and did not want to wait until I had finished all the stitching.

I have not done any stitching on my 6 Fat Men this week but I do have until the winter to finish them. LOL
