Still stitching

Still stitching, still in lockdown although you can go for longer walks and walk more then once a day.

Finished the second square and I’ve almost finished the third one.  I’m leaving the french knots on the toadstools and the eyes for the animals until the end, I might use beads instead.

Here is another bag I made.  This one is called Simona by Shamballa.

I like this bag, lots of room inside.  I had a piece of Liberty fabric and I used it on this bag.

Another photo from one of our daily walks.  We are so lucky to have lovely places to walk.  It was a lovely sunny day, not a cloud in the sky but the wind was a bit chilly.

Almost finished...

I've almost finished the Gingerbread Village. 

Just the buttons to put on.  I have the first three parts of Little House Needleworks Country Christmas and the first part of Country Cottage Needleworks Welcome to the Forest.   I'm going to start them both.

I have also stitched another ornament.

Just a short post this time as it's another busy bank holiday weekend with DS1s birthday yesterday and hubby's birthday tomorrow.   Hopefully I'll still get some time for a bit of stitching as well.

Busy time

It's been a busy month with Mothers day and Easter.   All three of my boys, my DIL and my beautiful Granddaughter came on Mothers day.  It was lovely all being together.  We had a lovely day out at Walmer castle having an Easter Egg hunt with DS1,  DIL and granddaughter.  Luckily the weather was nice dispite it trying to rain.  The next day we went to visit the boys at university for hot cross buns and drinks.

I've been making some dolls clothes for my granddaughters baby Annabelle, as well as stitching and making ornaments. 

Well even more time has gone by.  Since I started writing this post a few more weeks have gone by.  Another family celebration DS2 had his 21st birthday.  I cannot believe he is 21 and about to start his final year exams at university.

I was going to post this photo of my Gingerbread Village

But now it looks like this.

A row and a half more finished.  I guess maybe I should have unrolled it to take the photo but never mind only two more houses to go, also the snowflakes on the top row.   I did not stitch them before starting the second row, guess I was feeling a bit lazy.

I feel bad, I cannot remember who this one is designed by or what it is called but I do remember it came as a kit in a small tin.

I have been stitching on my Gingerbread Village from Country Cottage Needleworks. 

I'm really glad I am stitching all the Gingerbread Village together,  they are going to look great together.  I may also stitch the Santa's Village together as well as a companion piece even though I have stitched a couple of them on their own.

I have also finished a few more pieces into ornaments.
